Sometimes, cold comes after spring has started, freezing the trees in bloom 🌸. This can be dangerous for the harvest, especially when the freezing comes after the fruit is already forming on the tree, because the ice can kill the fruit. But if the flowers get frozen but there's no fruit sprouts yet, as long as the ice is white it doesn't have to be bad. It's not uncommon in Mediterranean climate to get the coldest frost in March.
