The Albi Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Cecilia, in Albi, France

It is considered the largest brick building in the world and the largest painted cathedral in Europe.

The cathedral was built between 1282 and 1480, taking over 200 years to complete.

The interior features highly intricate and vibrant blue and gold painted vaults and extensive sculptures, which contrast sharply with its austere, fortress-like brick exterior
