Addicted To Retail (ATR) presents: Alchemy SodaStream Lounge Pop Up Bar in Milan.

Designed by Yves Behar, the SodaStream MIX is the first appliance to carbonate any and all liquids, from pure fruit juices to alcoholic beverages. It corresponds with the growing trend for more advanced and professional home entertainment devices and products in food and drink.

With its digital interface, App and Bluetooth connectivity the SodaStream MIX is fully integrated into the Internet of Things, providing new opportunities for both professional bar tenders and sophisticated home users.

To celebrate the MIX during Design Week, Behar has designed The Alchemy Lounge, a futuristic pop-up bar located in the oval-shaped mirror hall at the Teatro Versace in the center of Milan. The diamond shaped bar houses MIX devices and laboratory tools, while the bar exterior provides guests with 360° of service. Mixologists will be transformed into flavor scientists able to experiment with the freedom to fizz any creation.

During Salone del Mobile in Milan, the Alchemy Lounge will host leaders of the design industry with the protagonists of the culinary and mixology world to engage in a greater dialogue revolving around “the future of the bar”: the speakers will include Carlo Cracco and Carlo Ratti in April 15 and Alexander Josephson and Marcio Kogan on April 16.
