We may not like the idea of alchemy when it comes to matters of the soul, but energy transformation is the heart of the matter (the heart of matter), by whatever name we would like to call our evolution into higher states of knowing and being. As matter constantly reconfigures, from one moment to the next, it can reach a moment of bifurcation, where a divine epiphany emerges, and a new order emerges. Being now regulates to a wholly new set-point or attractor, the previous state has been transcended. Like a phoenix rising from ashes, like a butterfly emerging from a cocoon, so too does the soul emerge from a sleep state to a waking state, a self-knowing state, known as enlightenment.
