The second issue of the journal of the Surrealist Group of Paris is now available from éditions de la Retrait. Contributors include Élise Aru, Sylwia Chrostowska, Rikki Ducornet, Sarah Froidurot, Joël Gayraud, Guy Girard, Beatriz Hausner, Jean-Pierre Lassalle, Michael Löwy, Bruno Montpied, Bertrand Schmitt, Ludwig Zeller, with images by Michèle Bachelet, Massimo Borghese, Taïsiia Cherkasova, Kathy Fox, Gilbert Garcin, Gilles Manero, Pierre-André Sauvageot, Virginia Tentindo, John Welson, Michel Zimbacca, and others.

Alcheringa #6 will be released on June 20 at Galerie Les Yeux Fertiles in Paris on the occasion of the Paris Surrealist Group's exhibition Tout doit apparaître!, which runs through June 23.

About ALCHERINGA

An annual cultural festival organized every year by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, Alcheringa is one the major college fest in this part of the region. With participants from all over the world, the annual extravaganza has now become one of the biggest college level cultural events in Asia.

Alcheringa is by far the largest cultural festival of North-East India and since its inception in 1996 by a group of students of IIT Guwahati it has served as a pioneer of art and culture for the youth. The festival enjoys the mammoth footfall of over 1,40,000 and participation from over 500 colleges across India.

The event is celebrated over 3 days and 4 nights that witnesses spectacular events and competitions.
