arin had not sipped a single sip of alcohol until nineteen when they went out with mo & krill to get something to celebrate their birthday. they are, surprisingly, very good at holding their liquor. they can be an emotional drunk - as someone who is Very emotionally stunted in their sobriety, so it only makes sense that their true desires come out to shine when the rare occasion comes that they can indeed drink.

their hands are calloused and for once in their life sure of themselves. though their life is a complete 180 from their upbringing and arguably a lot more difficult, there is a lot that completely encompasses arin and their life. they have their own path, their own goal, and the strength of people around them. when they were younger, however, their hands were well-manicured and trembled with either lack of sleep or general anxiety that followed them everywhere. they constantly felt as if there was nothing in their life except a life led by everyone but themselves, and they felt guilt over feeling such distress over such a glamorous life.

[ ☂️ ]ㅤ.ㅤdo they crave touch or fear it ?

they absolutely crave it. touch is human, and arin desires, after everything, to be treated as a person. to have touch is to feel as if they are alive, and after an assassination attempt? they absolutely seek out more of that human interaction in any way they can. i don't think they're a physically intimate / open person, bc i think a lot of arin's character is reclusion and hiding (even when paying attention to their clothes), but i think it comes to a brush of the shoulder, a grasp of hands, etc. etc.

they're   not   * overly   social   -   the   last   five   years   of   their   life   had   been   a   constant   cycle   of   concealment   and   deception,   something   of   which   now   came   to   them   like   second   nature.   the   ritual   would   change   all   that   -   the   thought   of   it   made   pocket   almost   visibly   * giddy.   soon   enough,   they'd   be   able   to   walk   on   their   own   without   having   to   look   over   their   shoulder;   they   could   go   home   and   rightfully   assume   and   regulate   (and   later,   dismantle)   their   father's   company.   they   give   an   uncharacteristic   half-smile   at   silver,   hidden   mostly   by   their   scarf.
