In all her seventeen years, Miyako had never once set foot on a beach for anything but matters pertaining to her duties as a Hotsuin and Chief of JP’s.
“......”
It had never bothered her. She generally did not have the time for any of the leisure activities civilians enjoyed in such a place, nor did she harbor any particular interest in them. Further, sandy and uneven terrain made beaches even more unappealing...as did the crustaceans so often hiding out of eyesight, beneath the sand.
Yet here she was, standing just at the ocean’s edge, looking silently out across the waves. Here she was, in what was probably the first “personalized” swimsuit she had ever owned, aware of, yet unconcerned by the so-called “dangers” she had been warned about following her entry into the area.
Miyako didn’t really know why she’d come here. Maybe it’d been a decision based on a whim. Maybe she’d wanted some time to think in relative peace. It didn’t really matter, as either way...it had been a mistake.
She’d known she would have to track him down the moment she sensed a shred of his presence in the city, but for it to be so soon, and utterly unannounced...
Well. Suffice it to say that Miyako wasn’t exactly happy about this turn of events.
“... And when did you arrive in this place? Alcor.”
