@nova-arclight your oc is sooo cool I just HAD to draw her, I'm genuinely like obsessed w how you draw her eyes in her barian form, they look so heavy in a way that's gives its this rly intimidating vibe aughhhh, and her arclight outfit is suchhh a good take on their 'uniform', turning the poofy sleeves into armwarmers and the dangly thingies into garterbelt are such clever and cute design choices rahhh anyways sorry for rambly here are the drawings <3

ngl, i was more proud of it when i finished it. coming back to it 2 hours ltr, i dont know how to feel xD

Deffo room for improvement, but whatever slow and steady wins the race (dont ask)

will be a part 2 (someday, i nvr keep my word,) with her with her sword instead :) (any1 remember the poll that was asking if she shud use a bow & arrow or a swrod? well it tied, and som1 rec she use both :D)

New image for my Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal AU, Bonds Beyond Time (and Space)! Although the chapter isn't out yet, I wanted to post it because I worked hard on it :D

Context:

This is Nova in her past life, getting married! I based it off of 1600s dresses (I think lmao,) and apparently white wedding dresses only got popular in the mid 19th century. Before that, they wore mostly red as it was a colour of love and was a cheap dye, but they also wore colours like blue, purple and pink :D!!

Also she looks kind of upset because she doesn't really want to get married x(

Nova; Barian Profile

Name: Alcoria

Derived from Alcor, which is the star next to Mizar, I found this fitting as Nova and Mizar are like this🤞 (They are besties.)

Alcoria also means "Lost," or "forgotten one," which is perfect for Nova, because: 1) Because she was a a girl, Vetrix didn't try train her to be a good duelist and deemed her as not one of his priorities, focusing on his three sons.

2) when she was left in the orphanage, she was kind of just forgotten, and Vetrix never really came back to get her.

And lastly 3) She was the 8th barian and the 3rd lost Barian. I found it kind of weird that she was a lost Barian as she wasn't anything special like the leader of the Barian's like Shark was, so why would she be lost? I ended up deciding that because of the meaning of her name, it was kind of like a prophecy that had to be fulfilled, and alas she fulfilled it lol.

Past life:

In Nova's past life, she was a knight. She fought for Nasch's kingdom, along side his army. When Nasch got into a shadow duel with Vector, Vector's kingdom kidnapped Nasch's soldiers, as well as her. Because she was a female knight, they threatened to 🍇 her. But Nova would rather die then lose her dignity, so she took a dagger from her garter dagger holder thing (it is present on her design, but I have not posted that on my main blog yet,) and killed herself. Sorry it's not that detailed and put together, I may update this soon but I thought of it on a whim one day and stuck with it 💫

(also I think in his heart Vector was a good guy so it was not him that called those orders it was his lead general possessed by Don Thousand or something)
