I watched season 2 episode 1 again and it's just really funny to me that Elliot imagines being back home in the Alderson house with his Mother "a perfectly constructed loop" because well...
Later on we know that the exit condition that's available is inaccessible because he's in prison. Or it could be that Elliot's "perfectly constructed loop" is the reason that the exit condition is inaccessible. In fact, you could say that it's both of those things because Elliot purposely pleaded guilty so that he was sent to prison. So that Mr Robot could do no more damage.
"...while debugging the user interface code". Elliot got himself thrown into prison (in his head his mothers house), to create an Alderson loop to debug his own user interface (identity).
There may be more to it than that but...it's really cool to think about.
