Late Nights || Aldyn
It had been a long night, longer than most and the only thing that Alex wanted to do was throw back a few shots after work, but she knew that wouldn’t be the best of options and she didn’t want Jordyn getting worried - so, she’d distract herself in the best of ways. With her girlfriend. Her girlfriend. A smile pulls across her face at the thought. It had only been two years in the making, but here they were. Normally after work she’d be on auto-pilot arriving home with no recollection of getting there she’d done it so many times now - but tonight was different - she found herself counting each turn she took, watching the minutes just so she would know how long it took to get there. Shaking her head at herself she pulls the car to a stop, and parks. She had it bad. “Jor.” She calls out once she’s inside, and heads to the kitchen. “Pizza and I have arrived.”

Alex had been debating since she’d found out that Evan was back in town whether she should tell Jordyn about her being there because last time she showed back up Alex had dropped what they had and she couldn’t stand seeing Jordyn struggle with that. This time though, there’d be no choice because she knew what she should have done the first time was choose Jordyn, so this time she wouldn’t throw that away. Even with that in mind as she makes her way towards the door to Jordyn’s place her heart jump and thumps against her rib cage anticipating the other woman’s reaction. She couldn’t not tell her though, that would be worse so with a heavy sigh and a quick check of her wrinkled clothes she knocks and waits or an answer.
