Dr. Aspen Greaves from Time to Orbit: Unknown is aromantic!
It would be so so so cool if people remembered that Sonic the hedgehog has been said by literal writers of the franchise that he would not like to date boys or girls and he doesn't want to get married or have kids like it would be so so great if people could stop forgetting that especially during this fine 2025 pride month
HAPPY ARO-SPEC AWARENESS MONTH!
As a writer on the aromantic spectrum, it's always been important to me to create characters like me that seem to be missing from mainstream media. I struggled a lot with labelling my sexuality because there was nothing to show me it was ok to feel that way. In season one alone, we have 3 canon aro-spec characters who are all very different from each other, and as we get into future seasons I hope to create more! Aromanticism shouldn't just exist in head canons! What's your favorite podcast with aro-spec rep?
Look at these Aroace queens:
That’s all goodbye
We need more aromantic, asexual, and aplatonic characters who’s orientations are a result of their disorders actually.
when i was 14, i identified as asexual, arospec, lesbians, and non binary. everyone told me i should just identify as lesbian because i was two young to know all that other stuff. im now 19, and i identify as aromantic, aspec, and non binary. its ok to identify as the more niche things! and its ok for you identity to change!
stop telling younger queer kids to pick the more "normal" labels

“What he felt for Justin was purely platonic, and clinging to the idea of more would be making mountains out of mole hills, setting himself up for disappointment in the long run. Simply because he wanted to be demisexual didn't mean he was.”
