Chicago Beer Pass: Another Rare Bourbon County Stout
Welcome to the Chicago Beer Pass: Your ticket to all the great beer events happening in and around Chicago.
On this weeks episode Brad Chmielewski & Nik White open a couple bottles of Ten Ninety IPA as they chat about this past week. First up on the recap is the Chicago July MEATing. Nik made it over to Ale Syndicate last Thursday for some meat, beer and rock n’ roll. Then this past Saturday at the Goose Island Wrigleyville Brewpub was the Goose Wrigleyville 15 Anniversary / Benefit for Bodhi. There were some great beers being poured at Goose that night and the fun crowd made it even better.
Coming up this week there are no shortages of events, so be sure to check one of these out. Friday August 8th is the The Great Taste of the Local Option. Then if you already have tickets, have a blast at the Great Taste Of The Midwest in Madison. Right outside the city at the Brookfield Zoo on Saturday and Sunday is Zoo Brew, animals and beer now that’s wild! Finally 6:30 on Tuesday at Beermiscuous is a tasting event with Jared Rouben and Jeremy Cohn from Moody Tongue. Jared and Jeremy with be sharing free samples of the Cold-Pressed Paw Paw and Crushed Green Coriander Wit.

Brad Chmielewski & Nik White had a blast hanging out at Temperance last episode, if you missed that one be sure to check it out. Brewmaster Claudia Jendron talked about some of the plans Temperance has coming up for the summer. For this weeks episode Brad and Nik are back in the studio. There were some fun events this past week and one of those was on the water; Nik talks about his Blue Moon Booze Cruise.
It feels like it's been a light couple of weeks but this coming week the calendar is jam packed. Wednesday, June 18th at Burger Bar is a Rude Hippo Brewing Co tasting event and then again Thursday at Burger Bar is a Une Annee Beer Dinner. Also Thursday is There’s No Place Like Home. As the weekend rolls around there is the Two Brothers Summer Festival that kicks off on Friday. Then on Saturday you can get a little taste of Moody Tongue's beers at their first annual pair-up. Chicago Beer Pass: Bring On Dark Lord Day
Welcome to the Chicago Beer Pass: Your ticket to all the great beer events happening in and around Chicago. We hope you’re ready for Chicago Craft Beer Week because it’s coming soon and Brad Chmielewski & Nik White have an insider seat. This week Brad & Nik crack open a couple bottles of Municipal IPA from Ale Syndicate as they talk about the media event for Chicago Craft Beer Week. There is a lot of awesomeness planned for the 11 days and we couldn’t be more excited. Chicago Craft Beer Week kicks off May15th and there are many other events before that, Chicago Beer Pass is here to help you find those. The big event this weekend that we know thousands of beer lovers will be at is Dark Lord Day at Three Floyds. If you didn’t get a golden ticket, don’t worry there are still some great events around town. On Saturday kicking off at noon at Emporium Arcade is Beer 2UP. Beer 2UP is your chance to try some local beers on tap from some of the newest up-and-coming breweries in Chicagoland. Also Saturday at The Beer Bistro is DLD Bistro Style, they will be featuring at least 8 different Three Floyds Beers. There is so much more happening next week, you’ll have to listen to hear about them all.
