3 Floyds Turbo Reaper IPA on tap at Local Tap in Philadelphia. A 3 of 4. Bright tropical and citrus in the nose -- if you smelled/tasted this blind, you'd expect it to be quite hazy, though the body is light to medium and has plenty of bitterness in the finish.

Siebenhunderteinundsechzigstes Bier:

Mikkeller x 3 Floyds Cumulus Humulus 6,8% vol. Kopenhagen, Dänemark

New England IPA oder nicht: direkt aus dem Warpigs Brewpub kommt dieses komplett trübe, farblich an Orangensaft erinnernde Bier. In der Nase intensivstes Hopfenaroma nach Zitrusfrüchten und Mango. Und mit intensivst meine ich intensivst. Man könnte auch direkt an den Pellets riechen, es wäre kaum ein Unterschied. Geschmacklich geht es dann ziemlich fruchtig weiter, umrahmt von einer milden Hopfenbitteren und einem Guten Malzkörper. Durch die Hafer- und Maisflocken ist das alles extrem weich und trotz den vielschichtigen Aromen unglaublich süffig und harmonisch. Bisher mein Bier des Jahres. 10/10

3 Floyds Zombie Ice Double Pale Ale (Picked up at Whole Foods in Plymouth Meeting, PA). A 4 of 4. Big and bright orange citrus in the nose on this as well as some nice candy-like and zesty citrus and tropical fruit. More amber color and a touch of malt sweetness to this to back it all up, and a moderately bitter finish. A really nice bigger version of the classic.

3 Floyds Lord High Fixer IPA (Picked up at King of Prussia Beer Outlet in KOP, PA). A 3 of 4. Not as hazy and juicy as I was expecting, but gives a quite nice pine and tropical fruit hop profile, as well as quite a bit of malt. Well-balanced and worth having, although it doesn't particularly stand out.

Pizza Port / Three Floyds Shredd Session IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Pretty great nose on a lighter-bodied beer, mostly citrus and tropical with some faint floral and herbal notes. Drinks quite easily and nicely balanced in the body. Doesn’t taste as session-y as many others, either in body or hop profile, which is great.
