Imagine Cross finding out that if you pet Alex’s hair or gently cup his cheek, he will melt into a happy puddle of virus boi. Also, re: your headcanon of Cross running his hand up Alex’s sides-imagine him tapping out a little tune on Alex’s armor. Imagine Alex giving him affectionate headbonks or gentle bodyslams so enthusiastically Cross gets bowled over.

You know, if you look closely at Alex's armor in the game, there's little red swirls on his sides. Just. Little markings, on the armor, just above where Alex's hipbones would be. I cannot get over those asdfghjkl

Anyways, imagine Cross tracing those markings absentmindedly.

Alex is definitely a little too enthusiastic when he runs to greet Cross, so Cross has learned to brace himself when he hears loud footsteps coming towards him. It's a good thing cross is able to pick alex up, if need be :)

I also like to hc that when they're in bed together, just enjoying each other's company, Cross likes to run his hand down Alex's side repetitiously, as a comforting gesture. Sometimes, the sensation will bring a few tendrils to the surface, and one will wrap around Cross' finger as it passes by.

Ross uses terms like “globalization” and “innovation” as harmless euphemisms for “capitalism.” Globalization, for him, is something for which the United States government has no responsibility—it’s just happening on its own, autonomously and anonymously, as if trade treaties, military bases, and offshoring zones were all springing up without anyone consciously creating the policies that enable them.
