P98 X-Atlantic: The Truly Extreme Workout
How many of you have given up on your New Year's Resolutions already? Did you find that it was just too hard to get to they gym for 30 minutes a day, four times a week? Well, this isn't going to make you feel any better about yourself?
Aleksander Doba, a 64 year old former Polish whitewater kayak champion just completed a non-stop voyage across the atlantic ocean... in a kayak.
The journey took him 98 days and change, over which time he survived on dehydrated meals, candy, and fish. His custom-built 23 foot kayak was outfitted with a desalination unit for drinking water and solar panels in order to charge his satellite phone.
So, next time you start feeling like you just can't be bothered to put on your gym shorts and tennis shoes, remember how lazy you are instead.
