Wanted to draw Vario looking relaxed for once
In chilling with colleagues and at home variants
I drew some Sonic characters using some color palettes I found on @color-palettes
Master Eeko-Dio Daki
Ever since I saw Eekp-Dio Daki in a trailer I was wondering what species he is. At first I thought he was an old, small Trandoshan. He even has similar colors and patterns, but his muzzle didn't seem quite right. And then he took off his hood and showed his elongated head, and I was like ''Oh, so he's not a Trandoshan but a new alien, okay.''
Then I saw Looti Vario and was reminded of the Aleena species and noticed some similarities. As I mentioned Eeko-Dio Daki has more Trandoshan proportions, three fingered hands and colors, but an elongated head shape of an Aleena and some facial ''hair''. Maybe he's a hybrid.
It's most likely a coincidence. After all Disney didn't have the guts to make Judy and Nick a couple and they make aliens in Star Wars feel less like their own species but just humans with a different coat of paint. I'll talk about it more in a future post.
And wouldn't you know, he's a Mosyk. I bet like with all new Disney species, we won't learn anything about he's biology, planet, culture, etc. He's just a lizard alien probably form a jungle planet and that's all there is to it.
Whoops, I did a thing

Aleena (She/Her)
The pilot of the Talons (for real XD): Tulakah Nightingale!
Bargle the chaotic magic-user casts magic missile at Aleena the lawful cleric (Larry Elmore, from Frank Mentzer's Basic D&D Players Manual, TSR, 1983) In the "Learning to Play" section Mentzer describes Bargle giving orders to monster minions and magically charming the PC, traits Aaron Allston emphasized when he included the same character in the 1987 Karameikos gazetteer.
