What is Alej's worst fear? How does she combat fear when in a bad situation? What abilities do her implants give her and how does she tend to utilize them in combat?
Though she won’t ever admit it, Alejandra is terrified of doctors or anyone messing with her physical person. It stems back to her ‘rebirth’ on Omega. She had just regained consciousness when she could feel her arm being moved on it’s own by the doctor who was testing the functionality of the implants, not realizing she had woken up. She found it very, very disturbing to have another person tampering with her body in that way. Since then, she has maintained a strictly 'no doctors’ policy.
When she is scared, she tries to confront it head-on, look at as a problem in abstract: 'How would I advise someone else to do this?’ is the question she asks herself. When she identifies a solution, she will then keep repeating the steps to solve said problem, focusing in on just doing the process, step-by-step, until she is through with whatever the task that is concerning her so much.
As for her implants/cybernetics: nanotech augmentations keeps her otherwise unnoticeable to all but the closest observers, though there is set of cyan (blue-green) scars on her arms and legs that break out and glow if she’s activated a particularly power-intensive implant.
She has a retinal implant that allows her to see heartbeats through walls, estimate ballistic trajectories, and receive messages all with the blink of an eye, and artificial rebreather nanites allow her to function in hazardous environments or breathe underwater. She also has a reflex booster that grants her almost geth-like reaction time, allowing her to effortlessly gun down or knock out her opponents before they wind up for a punch or draw their weapons. A strength enhancement delivers a haymaker that can put a hoke in a wall, giving her an edge in hand-to-hand combat as well.
More mundanely, she can access her omnitool without needing to gesture or activate the interface and display it on her retinal display (hands-free browsing is her most common use of this feature) and her health management systems plus biotic amp allows her to drink/take drugs without much consequence, with effects wearing off within hours.
