PROCESS POST. GHOST RIDER #1 page 8 Back after a bit of a break, with the fires, Q life and various rounds of depression time to start again. Ive rounded up the layouts and script. Series Writer was Rob Williams and included is his script. Trivia or personal insight ‘ I love to destroy shit in my drawings!! ’ Raze a few city blocks? I’m your guy. Nothing more satisfying. Write that on my tombstone This was a page were I made a tough choice. There’s two options; the dramatic hero shot that Rob asked for OR the storytelling page establishing location, distance, slightly vague figure from the villains POV also asked for by Rob. I went with storytelling or option ‘B’ I knew I had several more ‘beauty’ shots of flaming skullgurl. Plus seeing the mass destruction setting sets a mood with the tiny lone figure amongst carnage. I enjoy pages with options, from time to time and often submit layouts asking for opinions on them. Most of the time it’s a flip or flop a image. Sometimes its a different panel construction for timing, rarely, but it happens ignore script?, not quite give the intent the writers asking for which is not necessarily what’s written in the script. TPtB increased GR in the printed version which irked me. Its only noticeable if you drew it. Feel free to ask questions about the issues process and enjoy the pages. #ghostrider #femaleghostrider #alejandrablaze #process #art #matthewclark #johnnyblaze #marvel (at Downtown Portland) https://www.instagram.com/p/CFyGEaNhCUd/?igshid=u84qxtv7f0i4
