PROCESS POST... VILLIANOUS INTERRUPTUS AGAINUS with FUMETTI!! Back. After a week of checking in on Moms after her recent ER and hospital stay. She’s recovering nicely and will be wearing a Lifevest for three months to help her heart out after catching a virus that weakened it. Ive rounded up much of the script and layouts as I could find. These are from issue 634 of Adventures of Superman. Written by Greg Rucka with pencil art by Me. Pages 12-15 I couldn’t find the script for this chunk of the story but I can guarantee that it was brilliant. I love Mxy’s moment at the end of talking with Lois. Mxy decides to become a real hero. THE FUMETTI returns. Several DC staffers make an appearance Mike Carlin being spotlighted. This is the unaltered/adjusted pages. PROCESS POST... VILLIANOUS INTERRUPTUS AGAINUS!! Ive rounded up much of the script and layouts as I could find. These are from issue 634 of Adventures of Superman. Written by Greg Rucka with pencil art by Me. Pages 9-11 Trivia or Stuff Parasite twins Vs SuperMxy together again for the first time and will be again on TV in 10 years. The twins were actually originally much younger. I had drawn them around 10 yrs of age. Both were still purple and green, why?, because at one point the original was both and I like the idea of paying respect to those that came before. 2 Charlie X’s are more dangerous than one. I’ll see if I can dig up those designs. They were more science zombie looking in tattered containment suits. I just love Mxy trying so hard to be Superman. I think me and Greg added some better motivation and some much needed humor. My one regret was not finishing this storyline. Karl Kerschl came in for year two of Greg’s run and finished off the ‘Last Mxy’ story a few issues after I left. Trivia or Stuff Mxyzptlk in a Superman costume hadn’t been done at this point which surprised me and creating his ‘M’ shield ( You’re welcome Supergirl tv series ) with using the John Byrne ‘ fishes’ approach its two Angel dishes swimming up. FYI. Trying to be as inventive with background playfulness, but not trying to distract too much. Page 5 panel 2 background mugs are myself and a studio mate Pete Woods, who was drawing Robin or about to start Catwoman at this point in time. Never expected to draw a fumetti page, much less three pages. The absolute joy of drawing a Mr. Mxyzptlk is the different styles and in jokes you can drop. Page 6 was full pencil rate! Lol..... Trivia or personal insight I knew from the moment I read this page exactly how I wanted Mephisto to look. Im a huge fan of the Ann Nocetti/John Romita jr Daredevil version, fresh off the stands. My idea was that since Johnny has literally been touched by Mephistopheles, he sees thru the human guise, the classic façade. Similar to Matt Murdock’s radar sense seeing thru the illusion. My editor listen, said that’s all good but told me change him to the classic look next issue. Still, I drew the version I wanted and how he strangely morphs out of coyote form backwards I couldn’t find my layout for this page so I leave you with the last drawing of GR I did for the series. My sleep schedule is a total mess. Needed to try and sleep but it’s being elusive with only 2-3 hrs every other day. I think I completely missed Sunday somehow. This page. I added one panel. I love the idea of an extra beat before coldly give the order to destroy the news helicopter. It just seemed right so I added her looking up in destain.
