We’re gonna go on an adventure, friends.
I have met a lot of people through RP and I can’t wax poetic talk about just ONE person because that’s unfair to the awesome that are my friends.
So, we’re gonna start with Kelly and Mary, my family from Connecticut. If that’s actually how you spell it. o.e It’s been ten years. The longest running friendship I have ever held. We met back when Myspace roleplay was a thing. I have loved their characters immensely, both the times I have played with them, and from afar. They have a lot of experience among them and actually introduced me to the art form. Is roleplay art? It is now. I couldn’t ask for better teachers or better friends. And with luck, we’ll meet each other in the flesh in the next few years.
Daniel I also met through myspace rp around 8 years ago, formally. I think it was 8 years ago. We lived 20 minutes away from one another. We went to a Thriving Ivory concert together and the rest is history. We’ve been best friends ever since. He’s since moved to Vegas, but we’re trying to get me out there to visit sometime in the next year or so, or at least that’s what I’m hoping. I miss that nerd.
I met Aleks on a TAPS rp forum after myspace updated to 2.0 and ruined everything for everyone. I’m still salty, okay? Aleks is my current roommate and my best friend and I don’t know where I’d be without this wonderful, incredible amazing person. Probably dead. I made a big gamble when I asked Aleks to move in with me in Columbus, knowing I couldn’t make it on my own, but we could make it together. And 2 years later, we’re in an even bigger apartment, with fish and two cats and we’re doing pretty well.
Charlie I met three years ago when she asked about doing an rp for A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me. We hit it off pretty much instantly, and between us bloomed one of my favorite roleplay pairs to date. Felicia and Patrick are forever and always my favorite ship and Charlie is one of my favorite partners. While we’re not currently writing anything right now, we still talk a lot and are coming up (or passed?) our 3 year friendaversary.. Mostly me yelling about Twenty One Pilots. Also, Thespian porn.
TK. Where do I begin with this adorable nerd? TK met Charlie and myself a year and a half to two years ago, when the Clandestine Hive was still going strong and loud, introducing us to one of my favorite characters, Henrietta, and if you guys have been paying attention, Henrietta is still alive and well, and picking on Aeron, currently. TK never fails to make me laugh. And cry laughing.
These are the 6 people that mean the absolute most to me in the world. And I don’t know what I’d do without them.
