ALEREY | Besides being a play on my name, Alerey is a dream turned into reality, and I'm going to discuss how that came to be. I attribute it to my early days of reading which began with the third Harry Potter book after having seen the first two stories in theaters. Growing up with the films and books (which I would read before watching the film), I grew incredibly fond of the franchise and the impact it had on me. The films are superb, but the books proved to me reading about it could be greater.
My First Book
It all started when I began writing my first book, The Chicken Man, almost nine years ago. A few years later, I wrote a manuscript for the sequel following the release of the original rewrite in stapled paper form that I assembled using my high school’s library. I went on to self-publish it, which was followed by the current edition in 2013. Focusing entirely on college, I left it to the side. That was until earlier this year when I realized I wanted to relaunch it.
But, why did I write this book in the first place? I wanted to entertain people. When I began writing it, I wanted to make others laugh. The book is a satirical take on the classic film, Scarface, full of action mixed with humor and added with an extended plotline. I did not mean it to be a complex story, as I wrote it primarily for an audience who were not very active readers and wanted to show them the wonderful joy of reading.
The book wasn’t even long, as it began as an 80-page story now nearing 200 pages. I meant for it to be read like a movie, but one that could be enjoyed by any reading style of any person looking for adventure in those cream-colored pages. I wanted to tell an updated story, and share it with others to enjoy, of which I find happiness in achieving. I’m no longer the class clown in middle school, but have found a way to channel and share my joy of adventure through writing.

My Own Brand
If I was going to relaunch this story, I wanted to do this under my own brand, or label. That’s how Alerey Publishing came to be. I wanted to be in full control over the creative concepts, marketing, accounting, and more. I’ve learned so much about self-publishing and realize the difficulty of getting a manuscript passed through a major publisher like Penguin Random House (a favorite of mine!).
In the future, a major goal I have for Alerey Publishing is to publish other authors who desire to take their creative ideas from simple concepts to the hands, eyes, and ears of their intended audience. Before accomplishing this, I aim to continue gaining publishing experience through my own works in order to successfully help authors spread the love of reading around the world and realize their dreams.
Alerey Productions is a division I created to support Publishing, as it houses the resources to produce audiobooks, book trailers, and more. Productions is also used to produce other digital media, such as image, video, and audio editing for podcasts, web shows, and animation. There is a lot in store for Productions in the future, but it is in early development like Publishing for now.
Alerey Enterprises LLC is what houses it all. As the company progresses, it will continue to expand into other divisions. For example, Alerey Apparel is low-key being brought to light, which will produce simple graphic tees for everyone to enjoy while also producing company clothing.
Global Reach
Now, what is the “USA” in AlereyUSA all about? It’s because “Alerey” is taken on social media EVERYWHERE! While I could have opted for a number or “official,” USA represents the primary reach of the brand. Although based in Houston, Texas, my reach surpasses even United States borders thanks to the modern times and technology. I’ve even sold a book in the United Kingdom (thank you, my unknown British friend)!
To sum it all up, Alerey is a brand that represents entertainment to be shared with others. When you follow AlereyUSA on social media, it’s why you see me sharing the beautiful works of others. Those artists don’t pay me, nor even know who I am, but if I can help them get their content shown to others for their enjoyment, then by all means that achieves part of what I’m after. This can be a cute picture of Pikachu, or the awesome black sand art of Tim Bengel. Regardless of what painting, comic book, movie, or video game it is, I love getting lost in the fictional universes these wonderful people create for us to enjoy. And, I hope to do the same for you as we go on this journey together discovering awe-inspiring, incredible stories from around the world.
