Reblog if you ever grew up with "W.I.T.C.H."
I remember my very first introduction to the series was Issue#62 when I was little and immediately fell in love with the art style. I used to be a Winx fan but later became a W.I.T.C.H. fan. It was like reading a manga. My top faves were Will and Hay Lin.
Of course, being a careless wreck, a lot of magazines I owned would be missing their covers or barely hanging on. It's also because they're mostly staple-bound. This is why I prefer digital comics than traditional ones.
Side note: I am not a fan of the W.I.T.C.H. reboot because they make the characters look unrecognizable and the story just felt dated as they try to appeal to the modern audience. There is no shade to those who worked on the reboot, but this is just my personal take.
The original comics were timeless because they were never defined by current trends or the year they were created. It could be set in the 2000s or somewhere in the future. The art style went from that iconic Western Y2K anime look to the ol' samey art style you'd find on Instagram.
Seriously, I thought this was a different comic at first glance. Also, who's the Elsa-lookin' girl? Is it supposed to be Elyon?
