Actually, as I've gotten older, I learned the best way is to be neutral. I am not annoyed at the left. I just don't like those who tend to take their views to an extreme and shove it down people's throats. Whether you're a straight conservative or a queer liberal, as long as you're respectful, we can coexist.
Sure, I've seen people who are either right-wing or become one later in life. To me, I just learned to take a step back and view things in a more objective manner. I wanna be able to form my own opinions instead of fully choosing sides. I am neither a full-on leftist nor MAGA.
I am careful not to immediately label someone until I'm able to learn more about where they're coming from. Just because someone disagreed or unintentionally got your pronouns wrong, that doesn't mean they're out to get you.
Think of it like you can be body positive and still take care of yourself. You can be punk and still get along with your conservative neighbors.
Getting an ask that tells me I'm not allowed to have my opinions is wild to me. It's an opinion. You don't have to agree with it, but don't tell me what my opinion should be. I'm not a machine you get to program.
Holy molly! I'm so sorry to hear that, buddy! '''( – ⌓ –)=3
This is why I never bothered opening my ask box 'coz of how toxic people can be. Seriously, whoever they are sound like the type of people who'd come up to you and ask what you think, then get mad when it doesn't fit their standards.
To my fellow kiddos on Wattpad, you can check out my recent book recommendations on here!
Lemme tell you about one of my favorite books called "Waltz of Wysiwyg" by R.C. Musni (a.k.a. AkoSiIbarra). The name is actually an acronym for What you see is what you get. If you know Filipino, this book might be for you!
We follow the titular character, Wysiwyg Watson, a computer genius who plans on toppling down Clark University's social credit system known as M.E.R.I.T. He is like your average Shonen protagonist!
Imagine being denied basic needs such as food, coffee or even borrowing books from the library all because of your low social score. If this were to be implemented in reality, it would be a disaster.
Anyone in power, from your professors to even the government, could abuse it. It's basically an Orwellian nightmare!
I remember once having a conversation with someone in the comments after they asked me how I could improve it. In my opinion, it's either people would protest against it or set laws and regulations to prevent anyone from abusing their power (e.g. professors not being allowed to fail students for petty reasons and forcing them to do things outside of school).
Instead of punishing people and depriving them of stuff entirely based on their grades or how society sees them, they could at least provide opportunities like jobs, education or even mental health support to help them become productive members of society and improve their lives. In other words, better points means better service.
All basic necessities should be accessible to everyone, regardless.
So far, the book is still ongoing and I've managed to finish reading all eight chapters of this book. I won't spoil much and highly recommend you get to check it out for yourselves.
マジで FOR REAL?! Σ(°ロ°)
WOOHOO! It's Int'l K-Pop Day!

Also, does anyone remember JQT? They're pretty underrated though! The fact they didn't have that many songs is criminal! It's cute, catchy and unique which gives off "quirky scene weeb girl" vibes.
It made me think that if TPR was featured in magazines, TV commercials and bought by big record labels like VEVO, MGM or Atlantic Records, they would've been household names similar to Avril Lavigne, Paramore, Evanescence and Linkin Park.
They are more of a niche indie band and I’m glad they stuck to it, even signing up with an indie label like Fearless Records back in 2020.
Another thing is, at least from my experience, I never heard anyone at school (especially during events) or in our neighborhood play any of their songs. Not even in malls. If it weren't for the Internet, not many people would've known who they are.
Lastly, it’s the decline (not death) of hard rock. We went from constantly hearing rockstars on the radio in 2007 to One Direction and other K-pop groups in 2012-2013.
It also doesn't help that most people are unable to separate Taylor from Cindy Lou or Jenny Humphrey.
Not gonna lie, when I heard “I Miss The Misery” for the first time, I thought it was gonna be some random OPM (Original Pinoy Music) band ‘til I found out who sang it.
This song may be about a toxic relationship, but I also can relate it to dealing with every day challenges like school or work which despite everything still motivated me to keep going. Without it, you have no purpose and start to miss it sometimes.
Back in high school, while everyone was slowly moving away from their angsty emo phase in favor of One Direction and K-pop, this was my absolute jam. It’s like a homage to the 90’s/Y2K rock scene.
Halestorm felt like a remnant of that bygone era when people weren’t afraid to be hardcore and experimental.

There's something that I've been slowly coming to realize about indie writers compared to traditional. It's more than the bravery, the originality, or the raw humanity in having everything rest on you. It's in the rough edges that traditional media seems to dampen to appeal to a wider audience. Even when well-written, and not all of them are, many publishers follow the formula of heroes with superficial faults and amazing love lives. They might come from nothing, they might have to sacrifice, but the evil is conquered. 'Normality' perseveres.
But indies wreck that.
A teenager's panic about being alone. No one to worry. No friends. No community. Just... a chance to reach out once a hand is extended. To become a hero, knowing you're nothing special. And failure. So much failure- but also hope.
Others wish for safety. For an end to violence. For no one to die, not even the villain. Peace that didn't need a martyr. Let intelligence win the fight. Let no one be the chosen one. Get help and win together. No drive for romance. No forced interest to increase the market. Just... survive the trauma.
Others yearn for acceptance, and a stable community. Even when put on a pedestal, they need support to function, to not lose themselves. Mothers, fathers, extended family, even just neighbors. Without the collective, there isn't survival, and every death counts. No one escapes without scars.
Many endeavor to not have to conform to a heteronormative way of life, or a scripted relationship, or even to the formulaic way of thinking. Those voices are growing stronger. They are centre stage instead of the background, stated instead of implied. Neurodivergence and ace rep is on the rise and I love it.
So sometimes, when you look at a OC, don't forget to wave at the hint of the writer's soul. And if our villains are a little too convincing? It's because we've had experiences with darkness; not that we endorse it in reality.
The reason your snacks are unsatisfying is that you need both carb and protein.
Carb starts your engine, protein keeps it going.
No carb, engine don’t start. No protein, engine dies out fast.
Easy carb add on:
Cookie
Fruit (canned or fresh)
Chips
Piece of bread
Popcorn
Crackers
Easy protein add on:
Nuts
Spoonful of nut butter
Cheese
Roasted chickpea snacks
Glass of milk (dairy or non dairy)
Small canned sausages or similar
Sugar in there.
I am pleased by people messaging me telling me that after adding a carb or protein to their snacks or meals they feel more satisfied all day. Yes, my plan is working. People are getting through their days with less hangry.
Thirty-three years ago, the Rugrats babies first arrived on Nickelodeon today!
If you ever grew up in the 90s to early 2000s, you may have remembered how massive this show was. From the merch to crossover specials, it was quite popular among kids around the world. I think I once had a Nickelodeon-themed lunch box back then. Also, too bad we didn't have that Reptar chocolate bar here as it was only available in America.
We follow a group of babies who go on various adventures together. I know the art style may not be everybody's cup of tea but it kind of fits that whimsical, childlike wonder.
Of course, it had its fair share of disturbing moments but also some episodes tackled serious themes about death, bullying, and other life lessons. Also, no! We won't talk about that atrocious 2021 reboot.
OMG! It’s already 35 years old? I feel so old!
Here's an art dump in the similar art style of "AX-17: THE KIRA DIARES."
In contrast to my other art styles, this one has a more simplistic and geometric look. I am still trying to get the hang of it, given how this is a rather new territory for me. Here's a friendly tip: Try exploring different shapes. I tend to have a mix of round and angular shapes for my design.
I also highly recommend checking out "Valerian High" on YouTube by Álvaro González (a.k.a. goodbyeyellow).
P.S. To anyone asking if I take commissions, make sure you're a legit person and your profile contains enough information telling me what company, origin and the kind of services you offer complete with contact info. I don't use PayPal due to safety reasons. For example, [First name/Last name] from the Penguin House Department in Australia looking for a book cover artist who can do a vector-esque art style. I wanna know who you really are and if you got any references. Don't just say you wanna hire me or I'll block you. Also, if you wish to share my art, please give credit. DO NOT REUPLOAD!
FUN FACT! My cat actually has shorter arms.
Practicing my life drawing skills but this time with food! ✨
Similar to my recent artworks, I've been trying to experiment with my art by applying different shading techniques and compositions.
