Summary:

Life as a cursed prince isn't all bad. At least Castiel has plenty of fresh air, more freedom than he’s ever experienced at court, and he gets to see his childhood sweetheart, even if it's always from afar. Life as a part-time dragon is really pretty tolerable—until it isn’t. A moment of carelessness brings disaster and misunderstandings, but also a chance for reunion.

A very NSFW fairytale in which Castiel is a dragon, Dean hates potatoes and Father Zachariah (a lot), and Castiel's magically acquired body parts play a vital role.

Down on his luck and starving, Dean is approached by a strange man offering him the chance of a lifetime. It’s supposed to be an easy job. What could possibly go wrong?

After the storm summoned by his rage and desperation had died down, Castiel collapsed on the smooth metallic floor. Castiel‘s mind wandered back to the one thing occupying it since he’d found himself imprisoned here once more. For an ageless being of insurmountable powers it was kind of pathetic how he couldn‘t stop thinking about one lowly, inconsequential human.

Only Dean was anything but low or inconsequential, at least to Castiel.

Dean had put the not-for-sale sign up a month ago. He’d thought it should be easy enough to understand but now he was starting to wonder if he needed to make a larger one. Possibly one with some profanity on it, to really scare people off. A human-sized statue with wings suddenly appearing on one’s roof apparently attracted a lot of attention, especially one as impressive as Castiel.

Yet no matter how many strange people tried to bribe or threaten him, Dean vowed to always protect Cas and never stop searching for a way to bring him back.

What starts with a similar costume rapdily turns into the most amazing one-night stand Dean's ever had. Cas is funny, gorgeous, mysterious and really knows how to use his... wings. Among other things. Dean made Cas promise to stay the night and watch the sunrise with him, but he finds himself hoping that Cas will stay a lot longer than that.
