Kit was never one for fancy events. Though it was hard to avoid them at a place like Ogden. There was always one thing or another that required a suit and tie. Having been here for a year already, Kit was somewhat used to it. But lavish displays of wealth still made him feel... unsettled. It was just hard to wrap his head around all of the money everyone was throwing around. But at least it was for charity, right? That was the only thing that kept Kit from having an uncomfortable look plastered on his face all night. Ginger ale in hand, he made his way around the venue, offering polite smiles and chatting up people he knew here and there. Though it was during when he’d taken a break that he spotted Alethea, noticing her not far from his side when he stopped to take a breather at a distance from some slot machines. “Alethea, hey.” He approached her. She always intimidated him, back when he was with Greer. Something about how quiet she was. How she just sort of... stared. But things could change, right? “How’s your night?”
