I did warn you about the cheating.
I will admit that I did let this one happen though. This was back in the second or third rotation. Had I known back then that half this town would manage to cheat without any of my help, maybe I wouldn't have, but Emma rolled the want to kiss Alexander and I definitely let it happen.
And why was her ex at their wedding in the first place? Well, Alexander and Jesper just happened to be very close friends. Alexander was also in a relationship with the mayor, who was invited to pretty much everything that happened in Neptune.
Far east of the Sim City shores, there is an Island called Neptune. Eight sims have been sent there to build a community, which is hoped to one day grow into a new town.
This is the Neptune Project.
Let me introduce you to the eight founders (from left to right): Ocean Green, Elena Remington, Jack Hart, Jolene Nilsson, Emma Norbert, Alexander Nelson, Julia Adler, and Jesper Adler.
Open below to read each sim's introduction.
It was starting to get dark when Elena finally decided to stop fishing for the day. She was happy with her silver badge and she definitely deserved a break for the rest of the night.
She spotted Alexander standing off to the side, watching the rest of the group socialize. She went over to him.
“Hey,” she said. “Hey, done for the night?” he asked. “Yeah” “Any luck?” “Yes, I finally got the silver badge. Now it’s not long before I can apply for a job in the oceanographer career” Elena smiled to herself, she couldn't believe how close she now was to live her dream. She noticed in the corner of her eye how Alexander was watching her intently. “What?” she asked, blushing. Why was she blushing? “Nothing” he looked away. Was he blushing?
They stood next to each other in silence for a while, watching the others. Elena was suddenly painfully aware of how close they were standing. She couldn't explain it, but she suddenly had the urge to lean toward him. To feel his body touching hers. So she did.
"What are you doing?" Alexander quickly took a step back, almost causing her to fall over. She didn’t know what to say. “I’m sorry. I don’t know what got into me”. Alexander quickly glanced toward Ocean, who still was fishing with the others. “I’m sorry” she repeated. He nodded. “Sure” “I didn’t mean to…” she trailed off. “Right"
They were standing there awkwardly for a while, just staring at each other. There was a weird tension in the air between them. She wondered if Alexander could feel it too. Something in his eyes told her he did. “I better head home,” she said. “I think that’s probably for the best”
Alexander spotted someone new and was happy he had an excuse to turn his back to Jolene. He remembered Ocean telling him about the new resident, but he’d only half-listened and didn’t remember much. He couldn’t even recall his name.
He headed over to introduce himself.
“Hello, you’re new in town, right? I’m Alexander, the owner of this store” They shook hands. “Henry King” the man replied. “I wasn’t expecting a store like this here. My sister told me there were only a few shops open” “I thought we could use some entertainment around here” Alexander replied. “Have I met your sister?” “Probably. She’s a reporter from Sim City. She writes articles mainly about the businesses here. I’d be surprised if she hadn’t been here already” “Danielle? “Yep. She was the one who recommended I move here. Anyway, do you have any stereos you could recommend?” “I sure do”
Hello, I'm back with rotation 3. It's winter and we're back with the Green household again :D They've been doing some shopping at Leon's hobby store. Ocean bought herself a chessboard and Alexander bought Martin a piano.
Also, fuck snow. That's how I feel right now. It's almost May, I'm ready for spring. Winter is overstaying its welcome where I live.
Later that night, Alexander ate a late dinner by himself while Emma was potty training Martin. He'd finally started getting used to the potty.
“You’re doing a great job with him,” Alexander said.
Emma didn't answer. She just stared out the window in silence.
"I'm being unfair to you," she finally said. "And most importantly, I'm being unfair to Martin. You're his father. You should be a part of his life too," "Thank you for saying that" Alexander smiled at her.
From that moment on, Alexander was much more involved in taking care of Martin.
..and then Emma rolled this want >.<
I won't stop them if they do it autonomously, but I definitely won't do anything to help them.
An hour later, Ocean came over holding a wrapped gift in her hands. “To the new parents and their baby boy,” she said handing the gift over to Alexander with a smile. “Congrats to you” “Thank you. You really didn't have to though” "I wanted to. Go on, open it" Alexander started to unwrap the gift. “What is it?” Jolene asked, curiously peeking over his shoulder. “Oh my, Ocean. This is perfect” “A bed for Martin” Alexander held it in his hands. He smiled warmly at Ocean. “Thank you again. This will really help” “I wouldn't call it a bed, more like a basket with bedding in it” Ocean laughed. “It was the best I could do though. Hopefully, Jack's ready to open his furniture store soon” “I’ll go see what Martin thinks of it,” Jolene said leaving Alexander and Ocean by themselves in the entrance hall.
