I brought Emelie Lovell back to life as a para, and she was not amused :(

I'm not super happy with how her eyes turned out, but I don't think I'll be able to get them right until they add settings to move and resize the pupils. There was a different hairstyle that looked very similar to the one she had in ts3, but I prefered this hair for her in this universe. Overall, I'm pretty happy with how she turned out :)

I'm not sure how much Paralives stuff I'll share. I haven't tried live mode yet, so I guess it depends on whether I find it fun and interesting enough to share here. But at the very least, I wanted to show you this alternate version of Emelie :) She has the gloomy vibe, prefers to be alone, and has zero points in charisma, so I'm sure she'll be an absolute joy to play hah.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who left a comment on my post about my break/mental health struggles. I appreciate all of you. Thank you <3 I'm doing okay, but I still struggle with my writing, despite my many many attempts to work on my story. I keep thinking of new scenes I want to add, but for whatever reason, I just can't bring myself to write them right now. So, I've decided to truly let my story rest for a while and focus on doing other things I enjoy. Since Paralives releases for early access tomorrow, I'm sure that will keep me busy for some time.

My mental health has taken a turn for the worse in the last few days and I need to take a short break from posting. Maybe just over the weekend, we’ll see how I feel. I’ll still be around reading your stories, and hopefully I’ll be back to posting soon, too. I still very much enjoy writing my story. I’m just not in the right headspace for it right now, but I’ll be fine. I just need some time :)

"Long time no see, Vera." The sound of his voice sent a shiver down her spine.

"Ronnie..."

"S-stay back." He frowned at her. "Calm down. I'm not here to cause any trouble."

"Hey there, little one. What's your name?" "Ronnie... You shouldn't be here." Vera hated how shaky her voice sounded. It was as if she had been transported back to that night all those years ago, as if she had never truly let go of her fear, as if it had only been waiting for this day to come. "Why not?"

"Why not? Are you being serious right now? You can't just show up like this without warning..." I thought I was safe now, she thought. I thought we were safe. The smile he gave her sent another shiver down her spine. "I told you. I'm not here to cause trouble. I'm just here to see my boys." She shook her head in disbelief. "You're not Emil's parent. You gave that up when you signed me sole custody. You have no right-" "Don't be like this, Vera," he interrupted, his voice sounding weirdly calm. "We have to think about what Emil wants, no? Don't you think he wants to know his father? Don't you think he deserves that?" He paused and gave her another calculated smile. "And then there's the other one... Elias, was it? I don't remember giving you sole custody of that one." Vera opened her mouth but immediately closed it again. She knew he had no legal rights on his side, but in this moment, she couldn't find the words to articulate any of this. "Exactly. So, take me to them." "You need to leave, Ronnie."

He sighed, finally dropping his act. "Why do you have to be so damn difficult? I'm their father, and I will see them, one way or another. I think your best course of action would be to not stand in my way." "You're not going to see them, Ronnie." "And what are you going to do about it, huh?" He glared at her. "If you refuse to show me to them, I'll just go to them myself, and I dare you to try and stop me."

After playing in the park for nearly two hours, Lovisa and Christopher were sound asleep in their strollers, giving their mothers some time to talk without interruptions. "I'm glad we're finally doing this," Vera said earnestly. "I'm sorry it took me so long to..." "It's okay," Trish interrupted with a smile. "I get it. It's complicated, but we're here now, aren't we? I'm so happy that Chris and Lovisa are getting along so well, too." "Yeah," Vera agreed with a smile. "Anyway, I've been dying to ask you. Have you decided on a date for the wedding yet?" "It's only been a few weeks," Vera laughed. "..but yes," she admitted. "We're planning to have it in a few months. I think we've decided on the venue, and we're currently looking at which dates would work. We should be ready to send out the invitation within the next few weeks." "Oh. You're working very efficiently, I must say." "We want to keep it very simple. Something small with not too many guests, and we don't see any reason to wait."

"And uhm... can I expect to...?" "What? Of course, you're invited, Trish," Vera exclaimed. "You and Chris are family, you know that." "Just checking to make sure," Trish grinned.

Sims 2 Fame WIPs

If you watch Tea Addict's Twitch streams (and if you don't, you should), you may have heard us mentioning a Fame mod in passing.

This is in the earliest of stages and is completely subject to my whims about what I feel like working on, but since I've posted WIP pictures in various places and because someone on Reddit asked, I'm sharing an update here, too.
