“It’s not what it looks like…” with @alexander-thomas
Alexander was ready for the work day to be over already, he was exhausted and really could have used a good drink and some sleep. But as the saying went, there was no rest for the wicked and he still had plenty of royals and guards to keep an eye on. Granted he probably could have taken the rest of the day off, but it wasn’t in him to leave things to others. Which was why he making his rounds of the palace to make sure everything was in it’s proper place and all was as it should have been. He made his way to the kitchen, figuring he could make a stop for some food while he was checking in on everything. He wasn’t phased at all to find one of the maids already in the room, digging through the fridge. Though her statement did cause him to pause and he rose a questioning eyebrow, wondering suddenly if what she was doing wasn’t so innocent? “And what precisely is it not supposed to look like?”
Bee moved a bottle of milk over the shelf and glanced at Alexander over her shoulder. "Like I'm raiding the fridge?" she suggested sheepishly before she sat on her haunches to look deeper into the fridge, moving a few more items around. Granted, Bee was one of those people who were perpetually hungry, but that wasn't the case there. "Who would put the vegetables next to cheese?" She talked to herself, mystified about the lack of any sort of logic in which things had been put. "Oh, if you want anything from here," she called out again. "You might not wanna wait until I'm done. It looks like this is going to take a while," she added, with a sigh. Her hands were already cold and slightly trembling from the frosty air, but she couldn't stop now that she had already gone about halfway through it, could she? No. The answer was no.
