canoncall for Lafayette
My John and I are currently looking for our Lafayette. Lafayette used to sing John and I lullabies when we couldn’t sleep. He was very caring for both of us. When I first met him, he didn’t speak very much English and he was a little shy, but in time he got a lot better! George and Martha Washington were very much like parents to us. All three of us used to sit under the stars together and talk about everything. i really wasn’t a very stable or healthy person, but Lafayette was always there to comfort me and take care of John and I when we needed him.
