Budding Actresses, Finding Friends||alexandriasclouds x aworldthroughrosecoloredglasses
Amelia skipped around the ice cream parlor, cleaning up and picking up from her shift. When she finished, she smiled triumphantly and grabbed her bag, running out the door. Amelia barely had time to shout a goodbye to Mr. Lawrence as he picked up his shift. She checked her watch. 4:05, she thought, perfect. This gave Amelia four hours until she had to leave for her audition tonight, and she found herself not even nervous. In fact, Amelia wandered to Duke's, a nearby cafe, and decided to just hang out and use the internet in a comfy seat near the window. A huge crowd dispersed into the cafe, and Amelia found herself filing out the back. In an hour, as the crowd thinned out, Amelia came back and decided to eat. She went up to the front, a bar of sorts, and sat on a stool. "Coffee, please? Two sugars, one cream. And a raspberry muffin?" Amelia smiled up at the other un-naturally hair colored girl in front of her and adjusted her Wicked shirt as she waited, pulling on the ends. It was a rare t-shirt day, and damn it if the actress wasn't going to show a little pride in her community.
