1. What is your fondest memory?  Prom with my gf tbh. I had a wonderful night that I’m never ever going to forget. 

2. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would you change and why? I would love to be more self-motivated. I struggle with forcing myself to do what needs to be done.

3. Preferred superpower? Idk if this is cheating, but manipulation of matter. Cause you could do anything.

4. Do you believe in superstitions/are you a superstitious person? Hm, I’d have to say kind of? Most of my unusual beliefs have either rooted in my religious beliefs or delusional disorder, but I also tend to listen to other people’s superstitions when they’re brought up.

5. What’s your dream vacation? A week in a cabin in the woods mid-winter with my gf.

6. How did you meet your best friend? I don’t have a best friend in particular. I met one of my friends through robotics, one because she saw me sitting alone at lunch on my first day of school, and I don’t remember how I met @alien-cafe or @dorittohoe but I care about both of them a lot. 

7. Weirdest dream you’ve ever had? Yikes. Okay, so, when I was really young I had this recurring dream of Cole Sprouse being burnt alive by a witch?? It was super vivid and strange.

8. What’s one thing you want to change about the world? I would kill greed. Greediness is the root of most our issues.

9. Favorite movies/books? Favorite movie is probably still Rigoletto, and favorite book is wayyyy too hard to choose. 

10. Most prized possession? Aaaaaaa I don’t have just one. My laptop is a big one bc it’s my main form of communication with my long distance friends and gf. My flash drive is also really important because I’m a gay nerd and my gf has a matching one. I also have a stuffed animal my biological mom gave to me and a doll from Africa. 

11. Who’s your biggest inspiration in life? Listen, I am so bad at choosing one thing. My girlfriend is a huge inspiration to me because she’s made it through so much and she’s always just an amazingly kind, thoughtful person. I’m also really inspired by my friend Max, who has also been through a lot and still has an amazing sense of humor and is always ready to support the people he loves.

1. Introduction

Hi! My name is Alexia but people call me Lex for short. I'm a junior in high school and I love learning. A lot. In January 2017, I started to experience symptoms of psychosis, starting with hallucinations. Since then I've been seeking treatment but have still not received an official diagnosis. This month I hope to raise awareness of psychosis and disorders associated with it by sharing my personal experiences. I hope that this can help reduce stigma and inform. 😊

Listen. My girlfriend is the most caring and supportive human being I have ever met. Her voice has the power to drag me out of paranoia and the thought of her reminds me there’s always someone on my side. She is unique in her determination. She is strong in situations many would fall apart in. She is a world of happiness.
