EDIT: I need to add something here. Five years ago, I may have been just as ignorant, sheltered, and self-centered as the fool who equated his chubby struggles to racism. I may have, in his position, said something similarly foolish

But

The internet has really opened my eyes. The events in the last few years have really made me see the way things are.

Tumblr has been a big part of helping me realize these things.

So. People who run anti-racist blogs are the real awesome people here. I thank them for expanding my worldview and helping to erase a small part of my ignorance.

I'm sure I still have a long way to go.
