✨ What’s a book that you gave a second chance to? Were you glad you did? Ninth House did not mesh with me on the first go. I listened via audio and I know I’m in the minority when I say this, but I just don’t love the narrator 🙈 Many people LOVE her so don’t let me deter you! It’s very much so an unpopular opinion. I just couldn’t focus, I would zone out and zone back in and be lost... What actually got me to reread this book was the fact that I flagged a copy for my darling friend @story_hoarder. This forced me to physically read it and it was a completely different experience! 3 stars. This book was way too long with too much narrative. Still will probably Hell Bent. I like the world, I just don't like the writing.
