Darius knew he should be spending his time not working relaxing or catching up on sleep. But it was barely lunch time and he figured getting some training in wouldn’t hurt anyone. However, instead of jumping the gun and breathing fire everywhere, the man busied himself with some simple exercises to warm up, literally. The more he worked himself up, the more he could feel that itch at the back of his throat. It would take a little more working out for the itch to evolve into a flame, but he was getting there. Darius’ hands were coiled tightly into fists and covered in scales to prevent bruises or cuts from forming as he punched the bag in front of him. Because the poor thing has been hit so many times by the enhanced strength of Darius’ muscles and his hard scales, the fabric was starting to split and tear. Just as he was about to switch tactics, the mutant sensed someone getting a little too close to him. “I’m a little busy here.”
