'Alex' shrugs, "I'm sure I can find something that'll work. Lemme see." It takes him a little longer this time for him to rummage through his bag for the right things. He finally retrieves what looks like absurdly long belts, "I could attach a bag onto your arm with these harnesses. Wanna give it a try?"

“Sure, but what part of my arm are we tying it to exactly?” Ralph reached around to see if there was a part of his arm that he couldn’t reach with his bulky frame, and sure enough his uppermost arms and shoulders were just barely out of his grasp. “Might wanna put it further down than here.”

'Alex' nods, "Yup! Easy to use, and no catch. Well, other than limited supply, of course. But there should be enough for you to use." He nods solemnly, "Ah yes, someplace to keep them on hand. Since it's you, it would have to be something simple but secure, and I don't think your hair's it. Hmmm, what would you say to having an arm pouch?"

Ralph looked over at his arms thoughtfully and pondered that option. “Mmm, my arms are kinda thick, you got enough material to get all the way around em?”

'Alex' grins, "Then I say a message for it to record. Lemme see, who to send it to? Oh! Haven't heard from Theodore in a while. Ahem, Dear Theodore-" 'Alex' recites a short message, and instantly his words appear on the paper. "End Message. Please send to Theodore Gale." The sheet folds itself back up into a crane, and promptly vanishes. He explains to Ralph, "Due their unique nature, they can reach their intended recipient, no matter where that person may be, even in another world."

“So they’re magic, like Morgan’s spells?” He asked, feeling around in the air to see if it didn’t just turn invisible. “Neat! Not sure where I’d keep it- probably in my hair or somethin’, keep it on hand where I won’t lose it.”

'Alex' chuckles, "Oh it's quite simple really. Though, I should see if I have the bigger ones; these are just memo-sized. Hang on." It takes him a while, but he manages to find some larger cranes. He holds one up and clears his throat, "Observe, first I say: New Message." Instantly, the crane flutters to life, but then quickly unfolds itself into a flat sheet, suspended in midair.

He flinched away when it flew open, but when it settled, his eyes went wide. “Ooh.” He whispered, leaning in close behind Alex to watch the demonstration.

'Alex' smiles and nods, "Sure thing, Ralph." He has a thought, "Which reminds me, I really ought to leave you some way to contact me. I tend to be out and about a lot, especially outside the arcade." He rummages through his bag, "I should have something in here."

“It’d be nice, yeah. Is it going to be a flare gun? Bottled airplane with a banner tied to the tail?” Ralph’s guesses were silly, but he was basing his guesses on experience. “A giant kazoo?”
