"Alright. Thank you for letting me stay."
He nodded and smiled, ”It’s more then alright dearie, thank you for wanting to stay.” he said with a tiny chuckle.
"You wouldn't mind?" She asked her eyes looking at him sparkling with a little emotion.
He shook his head in the dark, ''Of course not... It gets really lonely here, so it would be quite nice... To have somebody here to perhaps talk to...''
"I don't really have anywhere to go." She said calmly. "If I go back to my village they'll kill my."
He frowned at that, and then a silence invaded the air, sans the crackling of the fire, ''You could always stay here... If you'd like...'' he suddenly informed.
She didn't flinch, or laugh, or star at them. She looked and then returned her gaze to the fire relaxed.
''I guess I can say that you'll get to see the full me in time, when I feel more relaxed with you... That is... If you ever come again...''
"I understand you're afraid that if you came out of the shadow that I'll fear or make fun of you, but I know the feeling so I never judge by looks. Looks don't matter as long as your a good person at heart." He voice void of emotion, but help a wise sorrow to how young she truly was.
''... Why thank you dear... I'm glad to know that somebody doesn't care about all that stuff...'' the beast said, and after a small moment of silence, he scooted just a bit closer to the fire, showing his talons in full light (as well as the ones on his feet) and his legs, which were skinny and covered in black fur.
She looked at her arms blankly. "Thank you. I like your eyes. They remind me of stars."
The beast in the shadows froze in his spot. ''S-stars... Gosh... Well thank you miss... Thank you very much.''
"Yeah, but now mama's gone." She said lifelessly.
He frowned, ''O-oh... I'm sorry dearest... I really am...'' he said, finishing up on both of her arms and closing the first aid kit, ''There you go... I hope I got everything.''
She looked up at him blankly. "They only show things to mama."
''Mama? You mean your mother?'' he asked quietly.
