Meet your Boston Alfred : Savannah L.
1. Tell us a bit about yourself
I first moved to Boston in September of 2015, and I have loved being here every day since. As a creative person, I love being a part of the thriving artist community here. I am also an avid gamer, I enjoy traveling, cooking, gardening, scuba diving, hiking, and going on adventures with my amazing friends.
2. When are you happiest?
Curled up watching a great film, enjoying good food, drink, and company, snuggling with the cat, or being out somewhere in nature on a beautiful day.
3. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Never stop learning new things... it's the antidote to boredom and melancholy!
4. Which part of your morning ritual would you recommend?
The part that involves coffee or tea. I am not at all a morning person, but caffeine puts me in a state far more resembling human, as opposed to grouchy underslept fire-breathing dragon.
5. Which part wouldn’t you?
The part that involved me hitting the snooze button about a million times before actually getting up!
6. Why did you join Alfred?
When I first found out about Hello Alfred, I thought it was such a fantastic idea. I know so many people who are juggling long hours and crazy schedules that could really use our service. I love helping people, especially when I can do so in a way that appeals to my detail-oriented nature. I enjoy being able to work a job that allows me to keep my evenings and weekends free while still maintaining a reliable schedule with the same clients week to week. This enables me to fine-tune and tailor their service to their particular needs. Knowing that I am able to help to make someone's week a little better is very rewarding.
7. What surprised you most about Alfred?
I find the vast array of clients we have to be really interesting -- working professionals, students, artists and freelancers, families, and so many more. I think it goes to show that just about everyone can benefit from getting a little time back, and everyone enjoys coming home feeling a little bit like Bruce Wayne.
