Ok but bokhyllen and I agree that at least Rene and Aurora were pilots and then when he disappears she and Alfred are compatible and nobody expects it and nobody expects him to be ABLE to pilot but he and Aurora fuckin rock it

And Tom and Neil are like Herc and Chuck in that they’re antagonistic but they’re really good at smashing stuff together and then as a joke or for fun–no, Harry is a tech and Neil decides he needs to learn self defense because um idk I remember in some fics or canon there are the priests who worship the Kaiju and want the jaeger program to stop killing them or something WHATEVER NEIL AND HARRY SPAR and they’re drift compatible. But idk what they do about it maybe Tom if breaks his arm or something and Harry pilots with Neil in an emergency.
