Genuine curiosity but it seems like a very banal show and story I'm surprised by this success and this impact it's having on everyone 😅
It’s pure queer cocaine cooked with perfect chemistry and sniffed on Ilya Rozanov’s body with some really compelling scenes played by a future awards winner.
It’s an unapologetic celebration of queer sex and queer love in a very straight environment and during a time of fascism rising almost everywhere.
It’s a little tv show made with 3 canadian dollars and an infinite amount of care and passion.
To be honest, success was the only expected issue for this show.
What do you think of Hudson's interview? ❣️
For reference, we're talking about the Wonderland interview.
I love it and, to be honest, I think I'm going to love it more and more as I sit with it for a longer time.
Hudson is very generous in interviews (and in everything to far) and as much as I think he's starting to see how it could quickly become a problem ("All Hudson had to give, Hudson gave. I need rest."), I'm very grateful to read his thoughts right now.
I love the way he talks about art and those are the parts that stuck the most with me. To be honest, it's very rare that I recognize myself in other human beings and I'm always grateful for the ones who offer me this experience, so I'm very grateful for him.
I love how he explained that the lack of routine for him right now is not allowing him to connect with art right now. I organize my life mostly in routines so I can have not only time but time with the right headspace to connect with the art. Feeling out of shape when you can't feed on art on a regular (if not daily) basis is something I relate with a lot.
I love that he offered me the word absorb for this particular situation. I was using consume and ingest to describe the feeling so far, but absorb might be the best one for it.
I love that he's talking about art (to absorb or to create) as a basic need like water, food or oxygen, instead of a passion, a job or a dream. He doesn't say it in these words but this is really the way I understood it.
I love that he writes so much and not only in a storytelling purpose but in a way to process what's happening to him, around him and in his head. I love that he says things like "nobody writes like me" (in previous interview) and "writing down what I’m thinking and feeling in hotel rooms between events."
I just really love how he thinks as an artist. I love how he talks as artist and how he talks about Shane (in previous interviews). How he doesn't shy away from considering himself as so with false modesty or something. I love the confidence. I know there will come a time (and probably sooner that we wish) when he will have to keep for himself some parts of his wonderful personality for his own peace of mind but it's a real privilege to listen to him as such right now.
Didn't know I was going for a love letter but I guess it is one now 🫶
It's crazy to think that just six months ago these two were unknown, and now they're enjoying all this success and recognition they deserve. I'm truly happy for them both and thrilled that they're living this new life together ❤️
💯
Very thankful for all the joy they bring to the world right now 💜
Acting like they haven't seen each other for decades instead they were together the night before 😭
knowing them, this was probably a 3-hours-apart reunion hug. Night before would have made them roll around on the floor 💀
Don't you find it annoying how all the rwrb fans are now obsessed with that new show?
the real question is: why aren’t you?
Also, have you read Pros and Cons of being Henry Fox?
Thinking about when Hudson said that Connor is so talented that if they chose him to work alongside him it means he must be good too 😭
He’s a true gem 🫶 I’m myself thinking about how he said that anyone who is not treating Connor with love and care and softness deserves to die and i would like to co-sign that statement.
Connor is his stability 🥹
I KNOW 🥹🥹🥹
