You were on the couch of your home that you shared with your boyfriend and Kaveh, relaxing with one of your hobbies while waiting for Alhaithan to come back, it was getting late, he must be busy...
Some time passed and you heard the door open, heavy footsteps coming to the living room, your boyfriend was back, and he looked absolutely drained.
He glanced at you and nodded, before walking over and simply laying on the couch with his head on your lap.
— Hard day? — you asked, already running your hands through his hair, which was more messy than the normal today.
He simply grunted in affirmation, you kept playing with his hair and detangling it while he rested.
Eventually he would speak about his day, in his own dry and analytical way. Complaining about the mess the previous grand sage left and how he had to deal with it. About how much he wants to go back to being a simple scribe.
I also think he would complain about Kaveh at some point (as always). He would like to hear your opinion and about your own day I think, although his advice would be very logical.
He would fall asleep right there on your lap if you don't suggest he take a shower and goes to bed, you might have to insist a bit tho.
