Now that Ali has gotten her copy, I can finally post the art I made for the Shapeshifter fanbook yay!!!!!!!!!!!! Major yapping about it under the cut

If you are NOT a shapeshifter fan and art utterly confused, I'll fill you in. The Shapeshifter is a book series written by Ali Sparkes, and is a beloved favourite from my childhood, I do recommend a read of at least the first book! (And when you're finished why not pop in our discord to yap about it lol) This drawing shows the ghostly character Wolf Boy in one of the scenes of the 2nd book, by his feet are piles of spirit communication notes. He scratches the trunk of an ancient apple tree three times, clumps of mistletoe hanging in their branches.

This piece was a DOOZY, I had several thumbnails of drawings I wanted to do months in advance and none of them were really hitting that sweet spot. After like two months of indecision it was just one of those things where you just had to pick one and start somewhere, there was no vision or anything just pure trust in the process. At first it was going to be super realistic and lined until I woke up one day and decided to scrap it all and go crazy self-indulgent, all-in-all it took about two weeks to finish! Would have maybe(?) taken less time to do if I hadn't also decided to be a silly goober and signed myself up to do fox drawings for all of the section pages as well HA, it was worth it in the end!

I really want to give a shoutout to everybody in the Shapeshifter discord, especially Andrew who put this whole thing together, we really did good guys. Everyone should feel so proud of themselves, it really fills my heart in a way that's hard to describe. I love you all and everything we've made together :']

6. Lisa Hardman - Feather and Fang by Ali Sparkes

The final final book in the shapeshifter series, I realised 90% through this book that the unleashed series happens before this and realised why I was so confused at what was happening 😂 Even though she's very spiky and up herself, I did really like Lisa throughout the series.
