Out of all of the Bumblebee designs, which one would you see is the one you prefer the most?

They're all pretty good to me (in my opinion!) but I'd have to say Earthspark Bumblebee.

I love love this design of him so much. It's a different take on Bumblebee's usual designs and I love how it reminds me of one his IDW looks.

I don't know how to explain it but I just love it. It suits him a lot, one of my favorite Bee designs and it's nice to see him with his horns and not the antennas or without either (I love his antennas too don't get me wrong but I wanna see more iterations of Bee with his horns again 🥹).

Not hating on RID. but in the show, it kinda ticked me off that bee’s team never really took him and sometimes optimus seriously. Bee is a literal spec ops soldier and they have the audacity to call him ‘Old’ ‘uncool’ e.c.t. the show should have given bee some more credit considering Sideswipe and Strongarm wouldn’t have been created from the allspark if it wasn’t for Bumblebee killing megatron, loosing his voice and so much more.

YES i have noticed that and it's always ticked me off.

Honestly speaking here, if RiD wasn't a directly mentioned sequel to TFP then I wouldn't be as bothered because on its own RiD can be good to watch.

Like, a storyline where Optimus sacrificed himself to end the war and Bumblebee becoming and learning to be a leader himself and following in OP's steps but trying not to be a direct copy to him and just be his own thing.

But because it is a sequel to TFP, you end up nitpicking everything here and there and it's one of the reasons why I didn't enjoy rewatching it the second time after also rewatching tfp (nowadays I do enjoy watching RiD again compared to before so long as I pretend the show is it's own thing lol)

we need RID angst

here’s the question, Does bumblebee ever experience traumatic episodes infront of his team?

perhaps he activates his weapons systems with the thought he’s still in the war?

would he mistaken others for decepticons who hurt him?

night terrors perhaps?

would he lash out if someone gets too close to his neck (voice box) or his spark chamber without permission?

I'm going to end up binging RiD again because of yall HSHSHD

Neways; I like to believe that he'd get the occasional episode when something triggers that memory. I don't know about pulling weapons out on his team but if he was spooked enough, then for sure he would. (He'd be absolutely apologetic about it and he'd feel terrible, then comparing himself to Optimus again in regards to keeping his emotions in check.)

As I mentioned in my last post, I'd headcanon that he gets night terrors from the events in TFP and prior.

I don't think he'd lash out per se if anyone got close to his voice box though it depends on who it is. Like if it was one of the team, he'd be uncomfortable and try to divert the attention away from his neck but if it's in battle, yes, he'd lash out and shield his neck at all costs which would leave him vulnerable in certain attacks.

I also wish they had touched more on how Bumblebee literally DIED in TFP then just came back to life,.... Like that's gotta leave some deep thoughts like bb just died, you can't tell me he didn't have a momentary crises about it 😭

does bumblebee every struggle with mental/psychological problems during RID15?

if so what types and how would mea comfort him.

These are just based off my own assumptions and observations, counted as headcanons! I'm open to disagreements and further discussions ('w')/)

For me, I feel as though Bumblebee would definitely have some PTSD related to the events in TFP (Notable mention; Losing his voice box to Megatron, being operated on and losing his T-cog to MECH, the Outpost being bombed and destroyed then being separated from his team which he considers his family, and then literally dying then coming back to life again).

I don't know if Cybertronians do dream, (though I like to headcanon that their processors replay memories during their recharge when under too much stress), Bumblebee would definitely have nightmares when it comes to his voice box and the nature of how he lost it. (Based on an old convo I had with @nova--spark mwehehe)

And moving onto RiD, to me it looks like Bumblebee has an inferiority complex. Being thrown into a mission on Earth, having to lead his own team (though I do firmly believe that Bumblebee does have leadership qualities, as shown in TFP: Predacons Rising), the constant comparing himself to Optimus, his insecurities when it comes to leading his team paired with the team not really taking him seriously most of the time, and when he gets snappy with Optimus after he comes back.

Bee having the need to firmly state and secure his place as leader to OP because he's afraid that Team Bee won't need Bumblebee as the leader anymore because Optimus is back and he's falling into his insecurities and fears of failing and not being able to fill in OP's metaphorical shoes.

(I completely forgot the bit of "how Mea would comfort him" but being as she struggles with comforting others and having her own issues, she just tries to be there for Bee and lend her ears to him whenever he needs to rant or a shoulder to lean on).

genuine question, what do you think the bots think about rainbows? like after it rains and you see them in the sky

I like to think that they've seen the equivalent of rainbows on Cybertron before and I headcanon that some buildings on some cities on Cybertron are prismatic, so that when a super bright light hits these buildings (as far as I can remember, Cybertron doesn't orbit a star but correct me if I'm wrong!) it passes through and creates the colors.

But when they see a rainbow on earth, I'd bet they'd be starstruck and no doubt curious on where and how it formed (I like to think their humans would most likely tease them with the mythology of rainbows and how there's a pot of gold at the end of it lol).

But aside from the technicalities of wondering how the rainbow was formed, they'd definitely stop and stare at how pretty it is. Makes them want to appreciate Earth just a little bit more.

do you have any head canon siblings?

for example, a lot of fans i know like to head canon smokescreen and strongarm being siblings with ultra magnus being the father/sire.

i myself like this head cannon and would consider bumblebee being a family friend/non-biological uncle to strongarm considering his brotherly relationship with smokescreen.

i think the same for Wildbreak cause he shares similarities for knockout and breakdowns frame. possibly bumblebee could also be an uncle to Wildbreak but the guy just doesn’t remember.

I don't have much headcanons tbh-

The most popular headcanon that I personally like is Cliffjumper and Bumblebee being siblings (G1 or whichever iteration)! In TFP, I can see him being a big brother to Bee and it makes me sad cause I really wish we got to see more of Cliff and his dynamic with the the team other than just Arcee's perspective 💔

I actually never thought of Smokescreen and Strongarm being headcanon siblings but after you mentioned that, I can totally see it lol

Also yesss, the idea of Wildbreak being Knockout and Breakdown's kid 😭💖 I've also had like, a little headcanon that Sideswipe could also potentially be a kid to them (cause little similarities to Knockout, appearance wise), Sunstreaker too if he was in RiD!

ok question, what is the main thing you are concerned that are going to be changing based on the TF1 trailer. Mine is Bumblebee's backstory. From what I know (and it could be fanon i honestly have no clue) is that Bumblebee was a war orphan who Optimus found and raised with the help of the other autobots. I also know that Bumblebee is the youngest autobot in the team. Meaning that them having him meet Orion Pax and Megatronus when they were young changes quite a few things.

I am completely sure that Bumblebee being a war orphan and being raised by Optimus and the other Autobots is fanon because they don't have parents? (feel free to correct me on that please) I know in IDW Orion and Megatron had mentors which are seen as their mothers by fans, I know primarily that Bumblebee is the last to be created from the AllSpark (at least in TFP).

But I'm not really concerned on Bumblebee's backstory or anything being changed because the universe in TF1 is a completely new and different universe/continuity compared to the other universes (e.g. TFP, Bayverse, Knightverse, Earthspark and etc.)

Besides, it makes a little sense that Bumblebee meets Orion Pax and D-16 before they were Optimus and Megatron because it's been stated a few times that Bumblebee is considered one of Optimus' oldest friends if I remember correctly (again, please feel free to correct me on that!)

But anyways, TF1 isn't solely gonna be about Bumblebee— it's about Orion Pax and D-16 and frankly I'm more focused on them because we don't really get much stuff about their back stories etc and there's already a ton of stuff about Bee.
