One of my favorite character consistencies in the Stargate universe is Jack's refusing to wear formal dress unless he absolutely has to. In season eight, when he makes General, he lives in the same slightly scruffy BDUs as before, just with a star on his collar.

Even in SGU, when he is a three-star General, he is still wearing the same as everyone else. It says so much about who he is, despite his rank.

Which Stargate character would you choose to go on a road trip with?

Teal'c, he's a pretty quiet road partner and would drive most of the way

Maybourne, you want to do something illegal on the trip, then go whine at Jack

Jack, he'll have dad tunes, fidget toys, and knows the road well

Daniel, you want to hear about archeology non-stop in a car for 10 days in a row

Rodney, he gets you horribly lost, blames you, then makes a whiny apology

Sam, it's a motorcycle trip, which is cool until ur tired of bugs in your face

Thor, you don't have time for road trips he'd just beam you in and out

Jonas. Bananas for days

Janet, you need a medical mama around cause you're accident prone

Rush. You say 'let's stop this car and turn around' but he just keeps going
