This was a great surprise: Alibernet. A Slovak wine. Alibernet is a dark-skinned wine grape variety developed by crossing Alicante Bouschet with Cabernet Sauvignon at the Scientific Research. And the result was very interesting. Vintage: 2013 Alc. 12%. Hints of plum and spices. Well balanced and good body even if only 12% of alcohol. This wine is perfect for meat dishes and tomato sauces. Still young although 6 years. Actually a good wine.
