I drink alcohol for the taste. IMHO, people who say that all alcohol tastes the same/disgusting have never tried good alcohol.

idk cause i tried white wine and red wine (maybe they were cheap?) and they just had this nasty taste to them! then again we have pretty nasty alcoholic drinks over here

I’m pretty sure you’re overthinking this. I kind of felt that it was related to boy’s voice breaking and him having a family he would rather forget about. But any interpretation is legit, so who knows what the authors actually meant!))

We all have our interpretations. I personally don't think i am over thinking it. Everything is so bizarre  with NV that the norm would be an odd one out. It certainly isn't in the same dimension as ours , there's too many  oddities for that to work.

I think it was his “initiation” or something. WtNV is always weird about things like that. What actually bothered me a lot in the episode is his description of his “supportive” mother and cold brother. I wanted to cry((

Yes but we don't know a lot about WTNV Community radio, for all we know death is the initiation. I mean after all, practically all the interns are dead. And the description of his family, to me, sounds like a family in mourning, like the mother is cracking and his brother is numb because they lost Cecil. Cecil meanwhile doesn't understand he's dead. The mother could have covered the mirrors because she kept 'seeing' him in them. And Cecil mentions that the mirror in the bathroom is covered and the recording booths, in the tapes young Cecil notes that they are empty yet they are still broadcasting.

Eh, It's 11:33 PM  (23:33 ) and I'm about to go to bed, in like, ten minutes, anyway. If it gets to be a problem and I come on tomorrow with a bunch of anon hate in my inbox, I'll turn it off for awhile.

I've considered it. The problem is there is one or two people who do leave me nice messages on anon, whether they're too shy to come off anon or don't have a Tumblr, and I'd feel bad on multiple levels, for letting that go. I don't know what to do. :(
