"So, how's the story coming along?" Jason asked as he dropped onto one of the park benches next to Alice, one of the ready made picnic baskets next to him, ready to be devoured. "I figured you've got your hands full with this one." Any event in town normally got well covered by the Merrock Times, but even more so when it was for a good cause, like this. It wasn't just for fun, it was for making sure that their town retained some of its integrity, held on to its character. "Are you hungry? I picked up one of these picnic baskets."

It had been quite a while since Rafael had been given the chance to just sit down and enjoy a meal with Alice, especially without a recorder or pen and paper being on the table with them. More so, now that she was a mother, and her life had taken a different -- albeit probably more fulfilling -- direction. Thankfully, though, that was what vacation was for; relaxing, catching up. Eating. And the Chophouse seemed like as good a place as any to do that, with steaks and seafood, salads and, well -- "did you know that this place has bacon as an appetizer?" Rafael asked on a whisper as he leaned towards Alice, the hostess leading them to their table.

WHEN: St. Patrick's Day (March 17)

"Think this is going to get wild?" Stelly asked as they dropped down into the seat next to Alice, camera carefully cradled in their hands, ready to take photos of the many Merrockites that were piling onto the bus, dressed in green, decked out in gold coins and shamrocks. "I mean, it is a Merrock party... on a moving bus," they laughed, turning to look at their reporter friend with wide eyes. "Who knows what could end up happening?"
