My example for type in everyday use is a mug that I got in Spain a long time ago. At the time I thought that it was cool that the mug had so many different fonts on it. Now looking at it after taking typography my feelings for the design have changed a bit with papyrus being such a focus on the mug with the color and the size of it. Also some of the words are very close together while others are touching. 

This one shows me how I have changed after taking design class since I picked this mug out. Then for the future reminds me that when it comes to fonts most of the time less is more.

My example for bad typography is this advertisement on the university bus. Its an ad by the bus company Coach USA to advertise there low price buses to Texas cities. The audience for this advertisement are students that need a ride back to their hometown. The font they used is sans-serif with quite a few different font sizes. There is no clear hierarchy in the ad like I saw the website before even knowing what the ad was about. The layout is awful with how it's rotated 30 degrees doesn't help anything. The color palette was not a good choice. This will influence of what not to do in my future design work by paying attention to my typography. Also having a clear layout and hierarchy so the audience can get the message across easily.
