What are your thoughts on starseeds? I strongly dislike the new age belief of them and how cult-like the concept has become, but I like the idea of a soul having non-Earth and non-human origins. Would you consider that to be similar to the concept of ontological cores?
Hello, first of all I agree with the concept of souls having non-human origins, and yes, that's like the ontological cores. As you have read from the article, there are several non-human cores born inside human bodies. The majority however have Earth as their origin. It is extremely rare to have cores of aliens, yet they exist. The problem with everything like this, is that once it has become popular, it gets blown out of proportion. So yes, non-Earth souls can be born within humans but not in the frequency that the new-age belief systems make them to be.
Another thing is that people commonly wish to be something extraordinary as it makes them feel special. It is also common that they endorse ideas like they will save the world; while it is not bad to believe that they can help others, it doesn't automatically mean that if someone is alien they can have special access to powers and savior-like abilities. So I would recommend to take any such claims with a pinch of salt; some persons are good-natured but self-deluded, and yet they manage to do good. Others are bad-natured and will use their claims in order to do bad things to vulnerable people. Starseeds are no exception to that.
