believing in aliens is fun and all and alien imagery is the shit but holy fucking god. stop blaming everything in history that white people didn't do aliens. it's really fucking annoying and insanely shitty. ancient non-white people weren't fucking dumb as bricks. stop acting like they were.

Name: “Jiyeon” | XK-220282  Shifter Form: Xurkitree  Appearance: A white-haired woman with her long hair tied into a single braid, the entity known as “Jiyeon” is tan and always smiling, often dressed in a simple black blouse and long slacks under her white labcoat. Strange white “bracelets” adorn her wrists and she wears a similar-looking white “necklace” around her neck, and she is never seen without a chic pair of boots even indoors. She carries a blue orb adorned with yellow clawtips as a bauble on her necklace. 

Jiyeon’s true form is a tangle of wires, her white hair now covering her face.  Her "head" is a white, brightly glowing electric spark with numerous points and no visible face and under her head is a mass of black cables for her torso and limbs; there are white bands resembling zip ties throughout her body as well. Her arms have ties where her shoulders, elbows, and wrists would be. At the ends of her arms are copper structures that resemble hands, each with six flat "fingers". The legs have ties at the hips, knees, and ankles and are composed of four cables fused together for the whole length. The feet have four toes possessing "claws" of exposed copper; each foot has two fused toes pointing forward and two separate toes pointing backward. Finally, her tail has three ties and four cables, one of them loose in two sections, and ends in what resembles a three-pronged plug. Personality: Easygoing and humorous, Jiyeon is always able to see joy in any situation and contribute her witty two cents’ worth. As boisterous as she is, one would have never known her to have previously been a part of a hivemind where free thought was explicitly erased, and she embraces her newfound individuality with an infectious passion. Even then, bits of her alien origin still shine through, what with her unnaturally detailed knowledge of black holes, alternate realities and outer realms and her utter amorality dedicated to her pursuit.  History: Manufactured in an alien metropolis, XK-220282 was indoctrinated into a hivemind of similar Xuriktrees and immediately granted intimate knowledge of their great legacy of space travel and making connections across them. Granted a leave of absence as an envoy (”gift”) to Earth, they were given the Beast Ball that would allow them to transform into a humanoid appearance to fit in and was sent away from the collective to bring the good word of their rulers to Earth. 

XK-220282 took on the appearance and name of a woman after combining the features of several posters they had found at their “spawn point”, and soon applied to work for KAST as a researcher. Through a series of confusion and coincidences, her competence was recognised and the newly-christened Jiyeon had suddenly gained not only a Master’s degree in name for aerospace technology but also a research assistant in the surly, difficult Sungrok, who had just lost his professor to a freak accident. 

This would span a bantering, easygoing friendship that spanned close to fifteen years, with Jiyeon grappling with her newfound individuality and Sungrok’s eternal bafflement at how cheerful she was in suggesting utterly inhuman solutions. Though, when Jiyeon revealed her true form to rescue Sungrok from certain death, she didn’t count on the dramatic personality shift of her old friend alongside amnesia, and in her bid of walking him through the basics had confirmed her comfort in being a female human over her formless alien self. 

Her love of Earth and its denizens would also see her reject direct orders from her rulers when they had intended to mount a full-on invasion of the more technologically backward Earth, and when she finally fought back, Sungrok was once again made aware of her secret...and this time, he was willing to keep it, making them both formidable adversaries to the assassins that were now sent to capture Jiyeon or remove the Beast Ball from her.  Powers: Jiyeon consumes electricity to sustain herself, allowing her to channel and generate large amounts of it when she needs to fight or even to power the “primitive” electrical appliances in and around the house. She also glows naturally in darkness, and has extendable limbs allowing her to reach up to double her body length due to the unique physiognomy of her base form. While she can eat normal human food, she favours consuming batteries and other energy-generating items for her own use.  The Beast Ball she carries allows her to transform her appearance to her current humanoid one (though she no longer needs to use the Ball to channel this ability after nearly 2 decades living on Earth) as well as creating controlled portals where she can travel from place to place.  Immortal/Semi-Immortal?: “Immortal”, not bound by the physics of life and death on Earth  Alignment: True Neutral  Other: She!
