The seventh Space: 1999 novel, and the third by E. C. Tubb - a noted science fiction novelist in his own right - Alien Seed was the first book in the series not to adapt episode storylines. This 1976 UK paperback edition is from Orbit, an imprint of Futura, and features an image of guest star Joan Collins from first series episode Mission of the Darians.
